Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant Primary location: Basingstoke We currently have an exciting vacancy for a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Basingstoke. This is a great opportunity for someone to enter this challenging and rewarding field, with access to our training and mentoring programme and support from an experienced VRC, our aim is for the successful candidate to progress to a higher grade within the Vocational Rehabilitation job family. About the Role The Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant is a varied role in which you will support ill or injured people with a focus on remaining in or returning to work. You will manage your own caseload, conducting telephone consultations with claimants and liaising with employers to provide guidance on reducing absence. Day-to-day, you will be liaising with multiple parties from employers to medical practitioners to recommend and guide appropriate vocational rehabilitation programs whilst considering their occupational, medical and personal situation. You will also be involved in training workshops and presentations to clients on understanding our services and how we can support them to manage absence and return employees to the workplace. About You As a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant you will need strong communication and case management skills. Key to your success will be the ability to build solid relationships with colleagues, clients and individuals alike. You will also need to have an appropriate background related to the vocational rehabilitation field such as occupational therapy, nursing, psychology or another relevant health profession. You should have strong report writing skills as well as good IT literacy and experience of managing a portfolio of cases at any given time. Proficient organisation and planning will be absolutely crucial to managing your work load. Client Manager Based: Hook in Hampshire
Introduction This is a full time office based role near Hook in Hampshire and reports to the Director of Therapy Services. It requires an Occupational Therapist who has experience across multiple specialisms. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to move away from hands on clinical work, but still wants to use and build on their OT skills and knowledge every day to help our clients. The primary goal of the account manager is to ensure that our key clients are provided with a high quality service and given all the support that is needed. In addition, they will need to work with the therapist(s) who are servicing the contracts to ensure they are delivering what is required to a high standard.
